Welcome Home Baker Family

Josh has finished his second build as the Construction Manager for Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity.  The Baker's will move in very soon! Habitat would never exist without the dedicated volunteers that show up time and time again. Every Friday and Saturday a group of volunteers would meet Josh at the job site ready and willing to get dirty for such a great cause. Here are a few pictures of the Baker's new home from dedication a couple weeks ago.

The Baker Home is fully ADA accessible.  The Bakers will benefit so much from their new bathroom, complete with drive-in shower and a bunch of extra space.

Bathroom ... the mirror is on its way.  Great storage!

Michael's HUGE backyard.   He is so excited and LOVES to be outside.

The Piersons

This past weekend we celebrated the wedding of some great friends, Brandon and Namali Pierson.  Josh and Brandon met freshman year of college as part of the same Sigma Chi pledge class.  Almost three years ago, we were introduced to Namali as they were both finishing up their first year of medical school.  There was something very special between them.  It has been so fun getting to know Brandon and Namali as a couple and share in their special day.  We are sad to be leaving Oklahoma as "the doctors" were just recently matched to OU for residency but excited we will still be close.
Brandon and Namali, we wish you only the best!

I love weddings especially all of the fun details brides put into their special day.  The flowers were so exquisite.  Namali's parents hosted a wonderful reception.

Side note:  I managed to pack our good camera when we sold our house.  At least I pray it is packed in a box somewhere in the garage and not in the hands of a Goodwill shopper.  Yes, it went missing just as we were packing up our house which was also the time of a rather large Goodwill donation. Ugh.  So, I apologize for the blurry pictures.  It just doesn't work the same.

San Antonio

Before getting on the road, we snapped a few pictures of the Creed cousins.

A picture of many expressions...
Ha, I promise Thomas was not in pain in this picture. It is just that goofy smile again...
Thumbs up!  Let's go!
Just being creative at Pappasitos while we wait for lunch...
Great weather in San Antonio... a great day to watch a soccer game.
Soccer has always been a part of our family.  Ashley and I grew up watching Christopher and Brandon on the field.  Logan already has some serious skills.

Off to the zoo...

What another fun day!  We finished off our trip with a big breakfast the next morning and more smiles.

I cherish the time I get to spend with family.  We missed Josh and Landon so much this trip. It just isn't the same without them.  Landon was busy building the fence at the new Smith home and Josh had school to tend to.  Believe it or not by the pictures, the rest of us were all there!  We are really looking forward to being all together again this December.

... Part 3

We had an early Easter celebration with the little ones since we would not be together for Easter Sunday.  Thomas and Logan were beyond excited.

Aiden after bathtime. He is all smiles all of the time ... love him!

Here are the boys striking their best super hero poses in their new pjs Nana got them.

and show me some muscles....

Ice cream heaven... what a way to end a great day.

Next up... off to see Christopher and the San Antonio Zoo!

Texas Part 2

Here are some snapshots from our fun weekend. Our nephews are growing up so fast and are at such fun ages. Get ready for picture overload.

Aiden was all smiles going down the slide with Nana.

Thomas loves coming to Texas and  really loves playing with Grandpa.

Snack break.  This is Thomas' new smile.

Meanwhile, Aiden was sleeping comfortably on Aunt Ashley.

A quick stop for the trains again....

Look how cute these two are!  The tire swing was a huge hit.  They loved it!

The picture below makes us laugh. It was time to go and we thought Thomas was sad to leave.  Brandon and Logan went to cheer him up only to hear, "I want to leave I am just too lazy".  What a line from a 5 year old!

I have just realized how many pictures I took in a short two day visit.  My nephews are going to stop calling me Aunt Lindsay and start thinking I am the paparazzi.... jeez.
