Addison: 7 Months

7 Months, 7....SEVEN!  We cannot believe you are already 7 months BIG, baby girl.  You are the most loving, easy going, happiest little girl.  We think you are perfect.

At 7 months you:
  • still go straight to the mouth with everything and are working really hard on getting your top teeth
  • roll EVERYWHERE.  You are so determined to get moving.  We think crawling is in your very near future.
  • are eating more and more solid foods!
  • do NOT like peas but love anything 'fruit', especially pears
  • are getting a bottle of breastmilk for all 4 of your feedings now; over the past couple weeks, you have become quite disinterested with breastfeeding
  • are working on a sippy cup but love water through a straw with Mommy and Daddy's help
  • are a WONDERFUL sleeper at night; in bed by 7:00 every night after a bath and bedtime bottle
  • have been taking a 2+ hour nap each day for the last couple of weeks; you must be growing!
  • are very fond of your stuffed animal friends but remain loyal to your Baby Einstein Exersaucer as your favorite toy
  • are talking nonstop!  We cannot wait for actual words but live to hear you babble your baby talk.  You have even started talking to your friends at school.
  • are realizing you can wave goodbye and hello yourself!  We swear you "waved" this weekend.  You slowly raised your hand and opened and closed your fist in response to Mommy and Daddy doing the same... too cute!
  • love riding in a shopping cart sitting up like a big girl
  • have a new friend! Sweet Ellie Abigail Morris was born this morning and is adorable! We cannot wait for you two to meet. Wish we lived closer to our Oklahoma friends!
  • wearing size 3 diapers
  • are wearing 9 mos and/or 6-12 mos clothes
  • wear size 3 shoes with a little growing room

And so Mommy will not forget, here is your daily schedule that you stick to really well:

7:30 am -   Wake: 8 oz bottle
9:00 am -   Breakfast:  3.5 tablespoons of cereal, 1.75 oz of fruit (half a container)
11:30 am - Snack: 7 oz bottle
12:30 pm - Lunch: 3.5 oz yogurt, 1.75 oz of veggie/fruit
3:30 pm -   Snack:  7 oz bottle
6:00 pm -   Dinner:  1.75 oz meat, 1.75 oz veggie, 1.75 oz fruit
6:45 pm -   Bedtime:  5 oz bottle
We love you to the moon and back sweet girl and pray your first Christmas is a very memorable one full of faith, family, traditions, and lots of love.
